THE DETAILS, CLEARLY
Terms & Conditions
The terms for using Picosnap’s website, host studio, guest camera and private event albums.
Last updated: 23 October 2026
1. Who operates Picosnap
Picosnap is operated by Lee Chein Wern in Singapore (“we”, “us” or “our”). Picosnap is the product name. Questions about these terms can be sent to leewilson88@gmail.com. Registered business name, registration number and business address are pending and will be updated on our contact page. These terms apply to hosts and guests using the service. By creating an account or joining an event, you agree to these terms.
2. The service and its current availability
Picosnap provides browser-based event photo capture, invitations and private galleries. It is currently a free beta for approved hosts and their invited guests. Paid checkout, paid capacity upgrades and unlimited shots are not enabled. Only the event allowance assigned to your account applies during the beta. Use non-sensitive test photos while the beta is in progress.
Planned launch packages and their deliverables are described on our pricing page. Those packages are not currently available to purchase.
3. Accounts and event access
Hosts must be at least 18 and provide an email address they control. Keep sign-in links and event invitations secure. Guests must have the host’s permission to join; a parent or guardian must supervise a minor’s participation and accept these terms on their behalf. Do not impersonate someone, bypass guest limits or access an event without permission.
Hosts set the capture window, reveal time and gallery visibility. An invitation can be forwarded, so share it only with intended participants. Guest access depends on the browser session used to join. Clearing browser data or switching devices may prevent return access.
4. Photos and permissions
You keep ownership of photos you submit. You give us permission to store, process and display them as needed to provide the event service. You permit the host and authorised event members to view and save photos according to the event’s settings. This does not transfer ownership or grant permission for unrelated commercial use.
Only submit content you have the right to share. Hosts and guests are responsible for obtaining appropriate permission from people photographed. Do not upload unlawful, abusive, infringing or sensitive content. Do not share child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, harassment, threats or content that violates another person’s privacy. We may restrict access or remove content to address misuse, security risks or legal requirements. We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated misuse, and you may request closure through support; any paid-order remedies and mandatory rights still apply. Contact support to report a concern.
5. Capture, reveal and retention
Camera capture depends on device compatibility and permission. An on-device queued photo is not a confirmed server upload; check for the saved receipt. Uploads need an internet connection. Photos are subject to the selected shot allowance, event deadline and visibility. Deleting a saved photo does not restore a used shot.
Gallery access expires 90 days after the event ends. Stored-photo cleanup is processed separately, so expiry is not a promise of instantaneous erasure from every system. Already downloaded copies cannot be recalled. Keep your own copies of important photos. Picosnap does not provide permanent archiving or guarantee that every moment will be captured.
6. Purchases and refunds
No payment is required during the current free beta. When paid sales launch, the selected event capacity, price, taxes and any add-ons will be displayed before purchase. Event packages are one-time purchases, with no automatic renewal.
We plan to use Stripe as the payment processor when paid checkout launches. Picosnap will be responsible for selling and delivering the service, customer support and refunds; Stripe is not the seller of your event package. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Digital Delivery Policy. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights.
7. Privacy and service changes
Our Privacy Policy describes personal data processing. We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the website or, where appropriate, email. Revised pricing applies to future purchases; changes do not remove mandatory rights or the purchased entitlements of an existing order.
8. Availability and responsibility
The beta may have interruptions, errors or changes. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or suitability for irreplaceable memories. Any limits on our responsibility apply only where lawful and do not exclude liability or consumer remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Governing law and contact
Singapore law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. Please first contact Lee Chein Wern at leewilson88@gmail.com so we can try to resolve any issue.
